• Hello brides and welcome to my page! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. My name is Marisa Garcia and I have been a makeup artist for 13 years and licensed esthetician for 11 years. I am makeup and skincare obsessed! I have always had a love affair with makeup. From a young age as a dancer, (ballet, flamenco and swing dancing), I started playing with and wearing makeup for performance from the time I was 6!. I was always experimenting with new looks and trying out different styles of makeup. At 25 and living Los Angels I decided to take a leap of faith and  attend make up school. I did an in depth month long makeup course at MUD ( The Makeup Designory) in Los Angeles and I found my artistic bliss doing makeup. A few years later I decided I wanted to get a deeper understanding of  skin, as I realized a huge part of makeup is correct skin prep with individualized products for each client.  With 13 years in the beauty field I know I can work with you to help create the exact makeup look you are desiring for your wedding day. Together with your inspirations photos, discussing what you would like and what I think is the most appropriate for your specific skin, face and eye shape ect. We will create a look that is perfect for you. I want you to look like yourself on your wedding day but the best possible version of you.  I specialize in creating natural, soft and illuminating makeup that will photograph beautifully.  I also apply individual lashes for the the brides so I can customized the lashes to your specific eye shape. I am one of the few makeup artist in New Mexico that specializes in beautiful, long wearing, airbrush makeup. Airbrush makeup is ideal for weddings as it wears for hours without budget even if you cry, lol.   Thank you so much for looking at my work and I would love to working with you on your dream wedding look. When I am not creating beautiful makeup you can find me at home decorating my vintage 1962 house with my fiancé. The loves of my life are my 12 year old Chichuhua named Sodapop and my 2 year old long hair Doxie named Dexter. I also still loving swing dancing which I have been doing 20 years sometimes still teach. Living in New Mexico is a dream and I know one of the most majestic places to get married.
